Recognition of Prior Learning or RPL is an assessment process to check if any skills and knowledge gained from previous work or formal/informal training can be transferred as achievement of a course or unit of competency. You can discuss RPL with your trainer after course enrolment. Your trainer will guide you with the RPL requirements and procedure.
At Younity Education, we allow credit transfer so you don’t have to study the unit again. A credit transfer is granting credit to a student for a previously issued unit/s that is equivalent to the unit/s in the course or qualification you wish to obtain. To apply for credit transfer, provide AQF certification documentation issued by any other RTO or AQF authorised issuing organisation, or authenticated VET transcripts issued by the Registrar.

We have created a simulated workplace to support you in your course. This is utilised as a basis for some of the content and assessments in the courses. You may use the simulated workplace to answer workplace-based scenario assessments. You also have the option, if you are working and have access to your workplace documentation to use your workplace to answer the workplace-based scenario assessments. You will be able to discuss this with your Trainer/Assessor.
